The Central Continent

The Central Continent (the "Central Kingdoms") stretches from equatorial tropics in the south to tundra and near-arctic wastes in the north. Three great powers run west to east: the mercantile Riverlands, the theocratic Vexia of the One Church, and the desert-walled empire of Khor — with scores of smaller nations between them. Beyond its frozen and sea-walled extremes lie the outer lands: Esteria, Vaalnaaria, and Dueg'dar Naar.

The lands in detail

Regional map of the Riverlands — The Riverlands A stateless league of mercantile city-states in the west, walled from the empires by the great mountain range called the Dragonspine. Crossed by a single northern pass: the Gap.

Regional map of Vexia and the Hegemony — Vexia & the Hegemony The theocratic north-east: seat of the One Church and the holy city of Vexavon, birthplace of the faith. A realm where doctrine is law.

Regional map of Khor and the southern lands — Khor & the South The river-fed, desert-walled empire of the south, ruled from the Citadel of Djedu; beyond its marches, the Tru'Kante lands of the Blood Valley.
